Course runs for 4 consecutive weeks, same time & day of the week. 

 

– Learn why the brain lets us over-eat, even when we know it’s bad for us

– Dieting doesn’t really work in the long term, we need to focus on changing our patterns of behaviour, and I help you to do this

– Weight Loss doesn’t make you happy, but being happy helps with weight loss

There is no magic wand to weight loss. But having the knowledge as to why we continue to repeat patterns of behaviour that we know are unhealthy, is very powerful. Having simple practical steps we can take to change these patterns of behaviour gets us back on the right track.  Knowing why dieting doesn’t really work in the long term, but changing patterns of behaviour and reducing stress are the key to long term change.

During the sessions we use hypnotherapy to encourage our subconscious to do what our conscious brain knows is good for us. Whether that’s to eat less, eat more healthily, stop snacking, do more exercise. We know what to do, we just struggle to do it. Hypnotherapy can help, and it’s fun and relaxing too!

Learn about why our brain lets us over-eat when we know it’s bad for us.  

I’m sure we all wake up saying enough is enough, today will be different, but by 8pm you’re back to your old unhealthy routine, sitting on the sofa having that glass of wine & eating that chocolate / packet of crisps / biscuits. What’s going on in your brain that’s allowing that to happen and what can you do to change those patterns of behaviour?

Goal Setting

You choose your own goal each week

Your goal could be to stop eating chocolate, or it could be to be more tolerant with the kids in the morning, or to tidy the kitchen before you go to bed….we all know that if our head is in a good place we don’t comfort eat, you set your own goal.  (This is not discussed openly, your privacy is important)

Hypnosis / Trance

Hypnosis to help relax you and allow your brain to process your goal.

My Approach

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process and it is important to understand that change happens because YOU want it
We don’t focus on the problem, we take the emphasis away from diet, exercise and weight, and focus on feeling good, reducing stress, balancing hormones and how to achieve that. 
We know that when we feel good we naturally make better choices about food and feel motivated to exercise.  The mind body balance is what we strive for.

 

I help people to reduce their stress and to make positive changes in their life. Most weight gain comes from comfort eating, bad habits & inappropriate relationship with food, this is where I can help enormously!

What I don’t do:

This isn’t gastric band hypnotherapy

This isn’t aversion therapy ie I won’t hypnotise you to hate chocolate

This isn’t a slimming club where you’ll be weighed and measured each week and told what you can and can’t eat

This isn’t a diet

I’m not providing exercise or nutrition advice in this class
