Hypnotherapy for anxiety
Anxiety is a normal human emotion that can be helpful in some situations, but when it becomes excessive or persistent, it can interfere with daily life and well-being. It’s a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.
Physical symptoms: Racing heart, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, muscle tension, fatigue
Emotional symptoms: Feeling restless or on edge, irritability, difficulty concentrating, fear, worry, dread, panic attacks
Behavioral symptoms: Avoiding situations that trigger anxiety, difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite
There are many different types of anxiety disorders, each with its own set of symptoms and triggers.
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD): This is the most common type of anxiety disorder, characterized by excessive worry about a variety of things.
Panic disorder: People with panic disorder experience sudden episodes of intense fear and physical symptoms, such as a racing heart, difficulty breathing, and chest pain.
Social anxiety disorder (SAD): People with SAD have a fear of social situations and being judged by others.
Specific phobias: These are intense fears of specific objects or situations, such as spiders, heights, or flying.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): PTSD can develop after experiencing a traumatic event, such as a car accident, assault, or natural disaster.
Hypnotherapy can really help with anxiety. It can help you empty your stress bucket, help you feel calm & get back in control.
In particular, the type of hypnotherapy I do is really effective, as it’s solution focused. We focus on the solution, and don’t spend time trying to identify the triggers, taking about painful experiences, and bringing up painful memories of the past.
I also teach how the brain works, so you can learn how anxiety is created, and what you can do to avoid creating anxiety in the first place, and also what you can do when anxiety arises.
